Killjoy Productions is adding new members to our growing team at The Pink Office. We can now officially welcome our new competent colleague Kristine Bidstrup, who joins as Director & Associate Producer.
Kristine has been on the cutting edge since she was a child, but has fallen in love with the film medium and now works primarily as a film director and screenwriter. She is educated at Multiplatform Storytelling and Production in Aarhus and at Møn Film Academy, where she now sits on the board.
In addition, she has had several projects through Filmværkstederne, a short visit to Super8's script line and studied for a semester at Luca School of Arts in Brussels. Kristine is a 'storyteller by heart' and is passionate about the co-creative working method of the film medium.

"Their 'Pippi Longstocking' energy! At Killjoy, nothing is impossible – quite the opposite. They take chances and challenge both the narrative format, the content and the way in which films are traditionally produced in Denmark. It's an exciting journey to be a part of! At the same time, it's fantastic to be allowed to focus on women in the film industry and empower them – both in front of and behind the camera."

"There are far too many great films to choose just one! Mommy by Xavier Dolan, The Souvenir Part I & II by Joanna Hogg and The Worst Person in the World by Joachim Trier are definitely among the best films I've seen. But my guilty pleasure – and all-time favorite – is without a doubt Bridget Jones' Diary. It's simply great craftsmanship."

"That moment when you're on the set, the camera rolls, and everything comes together. All the meetings, all the hours spend up until that moment that I, the crew and the cast have worked so hard for, are justified right there. When I myself am seduced by the actors and the universe – then it all makes sense. That's magical."
Give her a warm welcome 💖
